UST/AST Maintenance
Maintenance of your underground storage tank (UST) and/or above-ground storage tank (AST) is necessary for regulatory compliance, spill and leak prevention, and general good housekeeping.
TEC conducts periodic maintenance for hundreds of clients involving both routine visual systems checks and more complex testing and inspections of leak detection and spill prevention systems.
Your state or local regulations will dictate an inspection period, and maintenance typically occurs beforehand or as a result of these inspections.
Benefits of Choosing TEC for Your UST/AST Maintenance
Customized Solutions
Every client is unique and maintenance needs vary from site to site. We understand this and offer customized solutions that align with your needs, your budget, and your regulatory requirements.
Experience
Our team of UST/AST technicians has decades of cumulative experience working on and maintaining petroleum systems. We also have strong working relationships with local regulatory bodies including MDE, VDEQ, and DOEE.
Safety
The general construction industry is full of hazardous situations, and the petroleum construction industry has even more. TEC prides itself on its corporate safety procedures and will apply and adapt our site-specific safety plans to fit your project.
How UST/AST Maintenance Works
If your UST or AST system is new, TEC can easily set up a maintenance schedule with your team. Some routine items such as visual inspections and documenting fluid levels on a daily or weekly basis can be performed by operators and management from your own personnel.
TEC can set up inspections, testing, and routine maintenance items on a quarterly, semi-annual, or annual basis. Our team will identify a petroleum project manager to coordinate your unique schedule.
