Total Environmental Concepts, Inc. (TEC) is a Petroleum Service and Construction company, looking for an experienced Lead Industrial Hygienist to manage and assist in growth of the Industrial Hygiene team within the Environmental Consulting Department. Typical work includes asbestos, lead, mold, PCBs, indoor air investigations, and remediation projects. Position requires both technical and managerial expertise.
Education and Experience:
- BA/BS degree in engineering, environmental science, industrial hygiene or other related science from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience of which 4 must include supervisory and project management experience.
- Lead and Asbestos licensing in VA, MD and/or DC is required. Must be familiar with OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations and have completed OSHA 40-hour Hazwoper training. CIH, CHMM or CSP are a plus.

Total Environmental Concepts, Inc. (TEC) is a Petroleum Service and Construction company with established accounts across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C. TEC is looking for a full time Petroleum Construction Foreman to work out of our Hanover, MD office.
Petroleum Construction Foreman Essential Functions:
- Read, interpret and execute jobs according to project plans
- Procure equipment & supplies needed, plan out project to minimize costs
- Ensure a safe working environment (Hardhat, safety glasses when required steel toe shoes)
- Report any incident or issues that would cause a delay or project overrun through the use of Daily Reports
- Complete all projects on time and within Budget (confer with Project Mgr.)
- Supervise a crew to conduct project – required activities in an efficient coordinated manner
- Interface with Clients in a positive manner while providing answers to common questions
- Ensure good communication and work closely with consultants to meet project specifications
- Provide detailed information on field work by submitting daily reports
- Complete accurate timesheets weekly and submitted on time
- Ensure a “site review” evaluation is completed with the Field
- Superintendent and have 90% of all supplies ordered (Prior to project start)
- Comply with Purchase Order procedures when making company related purchases
- Proactively manage the planning of set up kit in order to minimize extra expenses
- Maintain all equipment and trucks in a clean and good working order
- Ensure all employees wear appropriate clothing on site
Position Requirements:
- 40 Hour OSHA Hazwoper Training, 8 hour OSHA Supervisor Training a plus
- Certification and Training from Petroleum Equipment Manufacturer’s a plus
- Valid Driver’s License and good driving record required
- CDL Class A a plus but not required
- MD DOT physical a plus (will be required if hired)
- Ability to lift up to 60 pound
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to Operator Heavy Equipment (backhoe, trackhoe, skid steer) a plus
- Communicate with Project Managers, subcontractors, and vendors in capacity of Site Foreman

Total Environmental Concepts, Inc. (TEC), a Petroleum Service and Construction company is looking for an experienced full-time Petroleum Construction Project Manager, with experience in complex government, petroleum construction, & design-build projects, to work out of our Hanover, MD office.
Education and Experience:
- 3 – 5 years of extensive construction project management experience.
- Demonstrated experience working with Federal Agencies (Navy, Army Corps, Air Force.)
- Quality Control Management and Safety Certificates preferred.
- Knowledge of Bulk Fueling and USACE FAR & DFAR contract requirements a plus.
- Experience with developing construction schedules for projects.

- Review of various types of projects based on technical specifications, scope of work and drawings.
- Review, analyze, and research complicated documents or data to effectively prepare submittals and compose RFI’s (request for information).
- Primary Point of Contact with the client for the project.
- Manages day-to-day operation of assigned construction projects.
- Support the client in the development of the proposal scope of work, specifications, and drawings to ensure they clearly define the project requirements and client expectations.
- Review subcontractor proposals and material suppliers to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Secure materials in a planned and coordinated manner.
- Procure subcontractors utilizing standard subcontract agreements.
- Resource planning of personnel to execute project work plans, schedule, and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations.
- Coordinate project close-out; to include obtaining required documentation, assisting in pre-final inspections and As-Built drawings.
- Develops lasting relationships with client personnel.

Petroleum Service Tech: (12) Months experience in petroleum equipment service and repair or other related mechanical repair field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference will be given to those applicants who have completed a course or courses from an accredited company related to the petroleum industry.
The successful applicant must have:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be able to promote strong working relationships with customers, vendors and coworkers.
- Resourceful, self-motivated and extremely organized, detail oriented, and willing to operate in a team setting.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Physically able to work in the field and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
