Virginia State Lead of Investigation and Remediation of Petroleum Contamination

Since 2004, Total Environmental Concepts has served the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (VDEQ) as Virginia’s State Lead Contractor for Investigation and Remediation of Petroleum Contamination.

TEC is pleased to announce our contract with VDEQ has been renewed for up to 5 years, allowing TEC to continue to serve the Commonwealth as a consultant for assessment, investigation, and remediation related to petroleum contaminated sites.

As the State Lead contractor for the past 16 years, TEC has supported the VDEQ’s key efforts for protecting human health and the environment, while successfully managing the state-wide environmental requirements related to projects under the scope of the contract. 

The VDEQ’s goal is to achieve focused, more efficient programs to meet or exceed environmental standards across Virginia. As Total Environmental Concepts maintains a commitment to sustainability and reducing adverse environmental impacts throughout Virginia, serving the role of State Lead of Investigation and Remediation of Petroleum Contamination is an ideal partnership.
